Pacific Educator

Published twice a year, PREL's magazine, Pacific Educator, contains articles focusing on classroom best practices, and includes PREL program updates from throughout the Pacific. The magazine’s audience is made up largely of teachers and educational administrators. We emphasize educational issues and topics that relate to the Pacific region, but we also publish articles related to other parts of the world. The links take you to the table of contents where you may view or download individual articles.

We welcome collaborations. If you are interested in submitting an article to the Pacific Educator, please click here (128kb, pdf) to download the magazine's article guidelines.

If you would like to receive the Pacific Educator via mail please register at www.prel.org/pacificeducator/register.aspx.

In this Issue:

The content of this issue and upcoming Pacific Educator magazines is informed by PREL’s strategic priorities. These priorities, described in our 2012–2017 Strategic Plan,  were developed with input from Pacific educators and stakeholders and respond to the Pacific region's existing assets and needs, as well as the current social, economic, and political climate. We invite you to learn more about our Library Education for the U.S.-affiliated Pacific (LEAP) project, bullying prevention in the CNMI, making assessment culturally valid, dual language learning in Chuuk, and much more.
