The CLT’s past work includes the following programs: the Pacific Eisenhower Mathematics and Science Regional Consortium, which focused on mathematical and scientific literacy for Pacific children; PRELStar, which worked to provide high-quality distance learning programming; the Pacific Regional Technology in Education Consortium (PR*TEC), which provided PD, TA, and adult/parent education, and disseminated technology information; the Mathematics Education for Novice Teachers: Opportunities for Reflection (MENTOR) Project, which developed in novice teachers the knowledge, skills, and dispositions necessary to be effective teachers of mathematics; the National Oceanic and Atmospheric Administration Hawai‘i Marine Science Curriculum Development (NOAA HMSD) Project, which developed and implemented marine curriculum into Hawai‘i schools; and the Assistance for the Comprehensive Educational Development (ASCEND) Mindanao Project, which provided technical assistance and training to improve access to, and the quality of, elementary education in Mindanao .
